What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website asks your browser to store. The next time you visit, the site reads them back. They are how a site remembers you between page loads.

This page also covers similar tools (local storage, pixels, fingerprinting) under the same heading. The rules are the same.

Cookies we use

We split cookies into two groups.

Strictly necessary. The site cannot run without these. They do not need consent under EU law.

• Session cookie. Keeps your form input across page loads. Expires when you close the tab.
• Consent cookie. Stores your cookie choices so we do not ask again. Expires after 12 months.

Optional. These run only if you opt in.

• Analytics. Aggregated, IP-truncated traffic stats, no cross-site tracking. Provider: [Plausible / placeholder]. Expires after 30 days.
• Embed cookies. Set when you play a video that lives on a third-party platform (Vimeo, YouTube). Their rules, not ours.

We do not run advertising cookies. We do not run cross-site trackers. We do not sell or rent traffic data.

Third parties

Some content is loaded from other domains. Each carries its own cookie policy.

• Google Fonts, for the typefaces. policies.google.com/privacy
• Vimeo, when a video is embedded. vimeo.com/cookie_policy

If you block these at the browser level, parts of the site will look or behave differently. Nothing breaks.

Your choices

Three places to manage cookies on this site:

• The consent banner. Appears on your first visit. Choose "essential only" or "accept all".
• The cookie settings link in the footer. Re-opens the banner so you can change your mind.
• Your browser. Every modern browser lets you block, allow, or delete cookies per site. Look in privacy settings.

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of anything that happened before you withdrew it.

Changes

The cookie list changes when we add or remove tooling. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. New optional cookies do not run until you opt in.
